If you stop, you could spend more time in the storm but lessen the hail impact. If you move, you could spend less time in the storm, but increase the hail impact. Unless, say you're driving the same direction of a fast moving thunderstorm, you could increase your time under the worst part of the storm and get the worst of both choices. In other words, unless you know these factors and the corrective action, your best best is to lay nekid on top of your Z. Unless you drive really, really fast, you could limit the damage to the front end of your car.
